Me, the Maple Leaf Mommy

Hi, my name is Deanna. I’m in my 30s. I'm married to my highschool sweetheart. I live in Windsor, Ontario. I am a stay at home mom to two rambunctious little girls (ages 3 years and 5 years). They keep me on my toes! When my girls are sleeping, instead of cleaning the dishes I blog. Which has done a lot to improve my sanity but not the state of my kitchen.

My G-Girls

My first daughter’s name starts with a G, and for some unfathomable reason my husband took to calling her G-Bum. As she’s gotten older it’s now sometimes G-Girl, or just G.

G1, aka G-Girl. 5 years old. Loves Blues Clues and Zaboomafoo. Loves drawing and reading. Adores all animals. Has a troop of imaginary companions, led by a Dust Bunny of dubious morals.

Then along came baby number two, who also has a G name. So now I have G1 and G2. Sort of like Thing 1 and Thing 2. Though Dr. Suess is nowhere to be found, there is, much to his regret, a cat running around in a hat.
