My Daughter's Perfect Smile {Baby-G's Split Lip, A Year Later}
A year ago today Baby-G fell and cut her lip and we spent the evening in emergency getting her stitched up. This post is for those who have asked how her lip has healed. Here's what it looks like a year later. She has a scar, not a line, but more like a ball of scar tissue on her lip.
I worry that someday my beautiful girl who smiles like sunshine, I worry someday she will think she is ugly. I worry that she will be teased.
I look at them with a mother's eyes, both of my daughters are beautiful to me. But this one, my youngest, she has the most beautiful smile I've ever seen. A light up the room you have to smile with her smile. A perfect smile. Even with a scar to mar it. And I hope she keeps it always.
