Maple Leaf Mommy

I am living in the midst of dinosaur invasions and safari hunters. Why just in the past 24-hours, I've been praised as a "good dinosaur cooker", accused of being a "potty dragon", and also told off for "eating all the 'tend mice".

Today my daughters rushed past me while having this conversation:


G-Girl:
Don't go near the maman monster, she will eat us!

Baby-G:
Why?

G-Girl:
Because we are penguins and she eats penguins.


And I suppose the strange part is I'm starting to regard this sort of thing as "normal".
