Pretty on Pinterest - Quotes & Quips

I'm a sucker for a good quote. I collect them and save them in notepad files, waiting for the perfect day to pull out the perfect quote. I used to post one every week or two, to my Facebook wall. Enter Pinterest, and now everyone is pinning these lovely quotes to their virtual pin boards. So I decided to try my hand at creating my own. And I discovered it's not as easy as it looks.

Choosing a quote, that's the easy part, but finding an image, and laying out the words.... it's ridiculously time intensive. For one thing I'm a stickler about copyright issues, so I waste a ton of time trying to find just the right creative commons or public domain image to use. I'm also NOT a PaintShop wiz. I'm fiddling around and learning as I go along. So laying out the text (and deleting it, and laying it out again, and again) probably takes me longer then it should. Some turn out better then others.  Oft times I have to throw up my hands and simply stop because I've now spent an hour or two on making some silly quote "poster".

Given the amount of time I've been wasting on these suckers, I figured I'd ask your opinion. I'm curious what you folks think - Good? Bad? Indifferent? Prefer real content? Terrible waste of space? Or nice weekly filler? Your thoughts?
