Yesterday my husband stopped in at the local Shoppers Drug Mart to pick up a few things and while he was there he noticed that they had an Xbox 360 and a PS3 each for $199. When he asked about the discount the clerk explained that they were getting out of games and most other tech and were told to just sell off the existing inventory.

I haven't had the chance to stop in there myself and see what other tech items might be discounted. I also have no clue if this means that just this one store is getting out of tech, or if it's a chain-wide thing. I figured I'd give you folks the heads up just in case. We already have an xBox 360, or I would be seriously tempted by this as $199 is $100 off of retail for the 250GB console.  Add in that whole getting to use/earn Shopper's Optimum points thing, and you could end up with a really amazing deal.
