Want to read about sheep, ducks, mental illness, and how to get published?
An acquaintance of mine has started a blog. He's a writer who lives out in the boonies raising sheep and chickens. He writes urban fantasy (think Charles de Lint), and horror. His blog is just starting out, but if you want to read about struggling to get stuff published, the writing process, homesteading, mental health, or any number of other interesting topics, check it out -- Creativity from Chaos.
Right, I said mental health. I'll snag a line from his bio: "He is open about his struggles with his mental health having been diagnosed with severe Bi-polar disorder and hopes his honesty will help others." Currently he has a contest going where you can win a copy of an anthology he's featured in - Mental Wellness: Real Stories from Survivors. Head here to read all the details and enter to win.
