{ Review } Agoo - Clothes For Active Kids + Big Sale News
I've never mentioned it... but I'm big on Agoo. A few months back I lucked out and won a $200 Agoo shopping spree. I'm terribly practical (mostly), so I picked a pair of puddle jumper rain pants and a coat for G-Girl to wear in a year or so (size 5). I'm hoping they will fit her when she starts kindergarten. Which would be a good time to have a nice coat. Also by picking things for the older of the two girls, both of them will get to wear them eventually. I also got G-Girl a pair of pants and a shirt in size 4T. To round things off I picked out a pair of Agoo leggings.

The pants and shirt are also awesome. Their trademark material is amazing. I loved the feel of the outfit I bought G-Girl so much, that I splurged and picked up a lovely one piece for Baby-G. (I scored a deal on Baby Steals and got it for under $20) This onesie style dress is my all time favourite piece of baby clothing. It has a really dressy look to it, soft and girly. The material is just fantastic. It is SO soft. And it washes up like a dream. When they say that it is stain resistant they mean it. Being a baby who is still just getting acquainted with solid foods, Baby-G makes a mess of her clothes on a regular basis. I never have to worry about what she gets on this dress. It comes out of the wash looking beautiful and like new, every time.
I was also really impressed with their leggings. I never got into the baby leggings thing with G-Girl. While I could understand why you would want easy diaper access the no feet/socks part just didn't make sense to me. Now I get it. Because they have no socks on them they fit FOREVER. Even at 8-months old Baby-G could use the same pair that her 3 and a half year old sister wears. They stretch to fit beautifully (and don't stretch out of shape). Around the same time that I got these I bought another pair of big name baby leggings. They had polka dots down the legs, and when I took them off of Baby-G she had dots down her legs from where the pattern in the legging had compressed up against her. That just can't be comfy! The Agoo leggings on the other hand, are fantastic! I love that they are made with bamboo. They are SO soft. They wash up lovely. (Though I do have to remember to keep them out of the drier! I suck at that part.)
To be honest I find Agoo's prices to be high, but they have frequent sales on their site. If you sign up for their newsletter, or befriend them on Facebook, you'll be apprised of all the awesome deals they have going on.
For example, right now they have an unbelievable sale on at Agoo.com:
70% off everything!
When checking out use the code kissessallaround and from now until May 31st you'll get 70% off. Even though you have until the end of the month, I would recommend checking out the sale right away. The sizes available are limited and they are already out of stock on some items.
Disclosure: I am not being compensated for this post in any way, nor was I asked by Agoo to write it. I did win some free Agoo clothes last fall, and as I was really impressed with the quality I thought I would share my experiences.
