{ Giveaway } Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (Closed)
I don't go to the theatre often. I am so behind the times that I just finally saw my first 3D movie (Tron: Legacy) back in February. One of the parts of the 3D experience that stuck out in my mind most was the awesome looking trailer for the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie. The 3D effects in the trailer were amazing. My husband and I both agreed, here was a film that looked like it was definitely worth seeing on the big screen.
I was excited when I saw the trailer because I had loved the first three Pirates of the Caribbean movies, and I had erroneously thought they had shelved the series after they brought the story of Will Turner and Elizabeth Swan to a close in At World's End. Now I'm reading rumours of a fifth and sixth movie in the works. Woohoo!
I'm really looking forward to seeing On Stranger Tides. They've got the same writing crew on board (Ted Elliott & Terry Rossio), so I am guessing this film will be every bit as good as the first three. I read through the cast and credits and noticed that though they've retired Will Turner and Elizabeth Swan, many other characters are returning. Along with the ever entertaining Captain Jack Sparrow, there are plenty of other familiar faces: Master Gibbs (Kevin McNally), Captain Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush), and Captain Teague (Keith Richards) to name a few.
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides sails into theatres everywhere on May 20th!
Here is a brief synopsis of the fourth Pirates adventure: Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) finds himself on an unexpected journey to the fabled Fountain of Youth when a woman from his past (Penélope Cruz) forces him aboard the Queen Anne’s Revenge, the ship of the formidable pirate Blackbeard (Ian McShane).
Captain Jack meets Blackbeard? I'm so there. In the mean time, to help pass the time until the film opens on Friday (May 20th)....
