I think you all know that I love supporting and promoting independent retailers. I've been thinking that it would be great to get to know some of the people behind these stores a little better.  The one thing that's missing from online shopping is that personal connection that you make when you shop at a small local business.

So I'm planning on starting a series, interviewing small retailers. I’m thinking that by doing write ups on the store owners it will add a human dimension that is often missing from online shopping.  I’m aiming for more of a community feel, like you get from frequenting small local shops.  Plus, I'm a curious gal. I just truly want to know more about the people I interact with.
